For too long, humanity has seen life’s decisions as simply man’s ways vs. God’s ways, being ignorant of the involvement of a snake. A spiritual war of gaslighting humanity into questioning what God has declared. At the root of it all? Our pride, dependence on self, and greed – which leads to our deception. But God is calling prodigal sons home – for them to realize how much they are dependent upon Him. But that return begins with revelation of our own depravity and need for God to give us true life.
It’s time to give the snake the cold shoulder, and return to our Father as humble children.
