When laying hands on others, is it possible for us to receive demons? This is a serious concern that has discouraged many from laying hands to pray for others. But what does the Bible really say?
Note: This video answers the question in relation to a Holy Spirit filled believer laying hands to pray for someone else. It does not address demons imparted through witchcraft. God granted the thief on the cross salvation at the last minute – without him ever being baptized. The thief on the cross is important! Because God used him to closely demonstrate what baptism means, even though he himself was never baptized. Everything that baptism fulfils was accomplished in the thief.
If we properly understand baptism, we can properly live for God. Because it’s supposed to be so much more than a sprinkle of water.
Ever wondered why Yeshua had to get baptized? Or the real purpose of baptism?
The concept of baptism is mysterious. Why did God give us such a peculiar instruction for starting our journey with Him? Baptism is so much more than most know. It is not just a mere symbol or a way to “join a church”, and it’s not even just about repentance – its about a divine priesthood.
WARNING: NOT FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS
Rise On Fire hosted a session at Prophetic Generation Ministries where a message of repentance was given, and many came forward to be baptised in water and in the Holy Spirit. Everyone who got baptised prayed in tongues (as in Book of Acts) and many got delivered from the demonic.
Demons are real, and it is the responsibility of all Christians is to walk in authority over them. We should not be afraid of the darkness, but understand the light (Holy Spirit) that lives in us is more powerful than anything the enemy can do. As you can see, the demons were terrified and screamed in fear of the name of Yeshua.
