My Goals Were Never His

My Goals Were Never His

By Kat Hlongwane on July 3, 2018

It was a particularly good evening. I was worshiping with a friend, we were going through the usual YouTube worship music with lyrics. I did not need the lyrics. I was worshiping with my eyes closed, very lost in the moment. I heard Him speak to me very clearly, He asked: “What is the goal?” Such an odd question, He had my attention. So, I listened.

Stuck in Nostalgia? – Yeshua told me to stop

Stuck in Nostalgia? – Yeshua told me to stop

Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by; I am doing something new;
it’s springing up — can’t you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43: 18-19

I am more like the Children of Israel fresh out of Egypt than like the apostles walking out my faith in fear and reverence. Although I have seen the miracles of YHWH in my life, I am not fully walking it out. I have seen him use my hands to heal, my voice to deliver the gospel.

Making others work on the sabbath?

In response to an email received from a brother in Christ:

“Shalom PD, thank you for your strong faith and amazing teachings! I’ve just watched your video, “Sabbath is a burden” and wow, I’ve learned so much from it! I’ve been keeping the sabbath for over a year now, as do some of my fellowship members and there seems to be a slight difference on how we should keep and honour the sabbath. Valentine’s Day is here, and so is the single person’s race to get hooked up. The typical red and white colors are being adorned in the stores, and my inbox is flooding with promotional messages for cutie teddy bears, flowers and of course the chocolates. Yum, I am more inclined to the chocolates not so much anything else.  I am not going to write about this worldly love, which the day packages and sells to people as its central message. It has become very evident that the day is lust driven and has nothing to do with the love of Yeshua.

Why the Jews don’t want our Jesus

Why the Jews don’t want our Jesus

By Pd on December 16, 2016

A long time ago, I was reading the Book of Acts, I became frustrated that I did not see the things that I read in my life, nor in my church. I realised I had two choices, either I blame God and His “season” (that this stuff is not for today anymore), or I blame myself (that I am doing something wrong). When I humbled myself and submitted to what the Word said (that we will see the things Jesus saw, and greater things) regardless of what my religious leaders said, God came and changed my life. When we stop pointing fingers to others and start humbling ourselves, miracles happen.

Lets apply this to the question: Why the Jews don’t want our Jesus.
