The arrival of the Internet ushered in a change in culture and the way we view and share information. Before, to become a “teacher” on the things of God you had to go out of your way to do so. Today, it’s all a click away and then our words are published for the world to see. But if we teach, are we called? Should we be? Just because teaching the masses has become easier than ever before, doesn’t mean we should. The Bible has strong words against the idle and careless teaching that sometimes litters our feeds. For many, they may find that their “social media life” will be their disaster at God’s throne. We need to develop a greater fear of God, His Word, and understand whether He truly qualified us personally to become a teacher.
