Every culture for the last two thousand years has attempted to tell the story of Jesus in a way that is familiar to their own ethnic groups, creating depictions of Jesus that would be relatable and accessible. But while on the surface this seems quite innocent, can there be a hidden danger and slippery slope to creating a Jesus fashioned in our image, cultures, traditions, worldviews, and likeness? Who is the Jesus of Scripture, and how are we to represent Him to the world?

Because God Is spirit, he has forbidden images, and no record of any of the physical attributes of Jesus are recorded, his words and deeds are what we are to know and live by.
