Joseph’s Cup of Divination – Did Joseph Practice Magic?

For many years, those in the New-Age and witchcraft communities have pointed to Joseph’s Cup of Divination as evidence of a biblical “Christian witchcraft.”

While ruling in Egypt, Joseph accused his brothers of stealing his Cup of Divination, and boasted to his brothers that he can indeed practice divination (Gen 44:15). Why did Joseph say this? Did Joseph practice divination? Let’s unpack this much needed discussion!
