One remark re. the Q&A section (Q. = stranger/uncircumcised to partake of passover?) the answers just covered – to my surprise – just Tanach view yet NO mentioning of NT passages – e. g. „For he is not a Yehuḏi who is so outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But a Yehuḏi is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim.“ Romiyim (Romans) 2:28-29 TS2009
My understanding is – the more important aspect of cicrcumcision is the one of the HEART…
You are correct Martin! The circumcision of the heart is certainly most important.
Agree with both PD’s and Martin Ryser’s comments. Dave needs to mention more about the NT as that was what the question was really about. Circumcision is of the heart, “he is a Jew who is one inwardly” etc. And really, he needed to (he finally did at the end) mention Yahusha/Yeshua! He is our Passover of course. Remember, we are under the Melchizedek priesthood, the Levitical is gone. The Jews (as a whole) think it is not, and they (again, as a whole) don’t believe in Yeshua. So then will drag those not really grounded away into the Noahide laws and toward the Antichrist. “Messianic Judaism” is an oxymoron. Judaism does not believe in Yeshua. So what it boils down to is we need the scrub all this trying to copy the Jews out of our heads. Everything points to Messiah, and we should have the “simplicity” of Him. No need to go overboard elaborating on the OT/Levitical when it boils down to “does the partaker have Yeshua and “heart circumcision”. The question in regards for a partaker of Passover now, not back then. If someone teaches they need to be circumcised now, they are trampling on Yeshua’s sacrifice plain and simple!
