The Bible foretells a day when prophecies and tongues will cease (1 Cor 13:8), when ‘the perfect’ comes. Some believe that day has already come and gone with the establishment of the Bible. Others believe the spiritual gifts continue on. It all hinges on what exactly ‘The Perfect’ is. Thankfully, it doesn’t need to be a mystery to us.
