There is a tension between believers: While some of us earnestly desire to keep God’s law, we still struggle with guilt, shame, burden, and the Holy Spirit. While others desire to walk in His Holy Spirit, they struggle to reconcile their lives with a law-keeping Jesus. Movements struggle, Yeshua remains the same, and is still calling us 2000 years later to leave harmful man-made doctrines and walk as He walked.

Dear Br. in Jesus Yeshua … Q:?… When im in worship or prayer with others i feel the presence of the Holy spirit but when im alone praying or worshipping …i feel a peace but i dont feel the strong presence … also it feels like hes around me but not in me …is that normal ?
Hi Stacy Marie, thank you for your question. Depending on our feelings is never a good idea to gauge God’s presence. Yes, we can experience God in different ways, but God is still there – even when we don’t feel Him.
It’s also not possible to tell He is “inside” us or not by feeling. Rather, we judge these things by fruit. We see God working in our lives – protecting us, providing for us, blessing us. We see His Holy Spirit transform us and work through us, giving us boldness in times of need. Look to God’s actions, not your feelings. Feelings are fleeting, they come and go and our trials may affect how we feel. God is close, no matter how you feel.

Hope that helps!
Many blessings,
